The hardest step is actually becoming an "individual", rather than being a follower.. society, family, and friends play a huge part on decisions we make.. whether it be life choices, the religion you choose to follow, what your love interest "should" be… its all influenced and in some situations chosen for you! But… when you can say I'm going to do this particular thing, at this particular moment.. regardless of fear of the unknown result, regardless of judgement from others... to have that courage... you've won the battle and you can go forward knowing that this result happened because of "MY" choice.. good or bad.  Thats a victory in my opinion.

What’s your favorite quote?

Something I've been saying for years when I embraced my own individuality that has become my mantra… WAKE UP AND EVOLVE! … people become stagnant and comfortable with their daily routine that they forget to embrace life for what it offers

How to make your very own Natural Eye liner:) YAY!!

 Create your own Eyeliner!

Why pay for eyeliner when you can make your own homemade eyeliner using organic and natural ingredients? This recipe for homemade eyeliner is inexpensive and will last through anything - weather, sweat or tears.

Ingredients:

2 Application Sticks or Cotton Swabs
2 Packets of Natural Fruit Extract Powder
1/4 Cup Distilled Water
2 tbsp. Cup Coconut Oil
1 tsp. Pure Cane Sugar

Picking the Shade

Pick a natural shade that you want to use for your homemade eyeliner. This is the purpose of the powdered fruit extract. If you like orange shades, use orange or tangerine flavored extract. If you like dark purple or blue, go for a blueberry powder. It's a matter of personal taste, any fruit extract powder will do. Make sure the label says "No Artificial Ingredients" you'll be fine.

Add the Colors

Pour the distilled water into a medium sized cereal bowl. Add the fruit extract powder, sugar, and coconut oil. Stir this mixture with a fork until well blended, leaving no chunks of coconut oil. The sugar will work as a base to resist evaporation, while dissolving the coconut oil and making the eyeliner last longer. Refridgerate for 2 hours until a thick layer has formed on top of the mixture.

Stir, Freeze, Stir!

Stir the mixture and put it in the freezer for 10-20 minutes. Repeat this process several times until the liquid has hardened throughout the eyeliner. The thick layer of film needs to become consistent throughout the eyeliner. This way, you'll be able to use the homemade eyeliner to the very bottom of the bowl instead of only getting 2-3 uses out of it before tossing it out! The color of the mixture now is what the eyeliner will turn out looking like in the end.

Create an Applicator

Now that you've got a hard solid that will easily rub off onto the smooth surface of your skin, it's time to create a method of application for the make-up. 25 cent capsule containers from toy machines work perfect. You can use whatever you like as long as it has a lid that snaps in place. Use the cotton swab or applicator stick as an eyeliner pencil and enjoy!

This is a really cute style:) I may try this!!!:)

10 ways to stay motivated

 THE ART OF MOTIVATION

Sometimes life can make us feel overwhelmed . We may lose track of our goals because of stress, or just being in an overall slump. This article is intended to refresh our ambition for reaching our goals. Hopefully these tips can help everyone stay on track for their goals:)

 1. One Goal. A lot of times many of use feel like giving up because we simply have too much to do or too many goals to accomplish. Focus on one thing at at time and watch those motivation energies started back up.

2. Find Inspiration. Some of my biggest inspirations are other people who are successful in what I would like to do. Some people find inspiration in day to day life. Find what inspires you and regain motivation instantly.

3. Get excited. This sounds obvious, but most people don’t think about it much: if you want to break out of a slump, get yourself excited about a goal. But how can you do that when you don’t feel motivated? Well, it starts with inspiration from others (see above).

4. Build anticipation. . If you find inspiration and want to do a goal, don’t start right away. Many of us will get excited and want to start today. That’s a mistake. Set a date in the future — a week or two, or even a month — and make that your Start Date. Mark it on the calendar. Get excited about that date. Make it the most important date in your life. In the meantime, start writing out a plan. And do some of the steps below.  By delaying your start, you are building anticipation, and increasing your focus and energy for your goal

5. Write your goals down. Print out your goal in big words. Make your goal just a few words long, like a mantra (“Exercise 15 mins. Daily”), and post it up on your wall or refrigerator. Post it at home and work. Put it on your computer desktop. You want to have big reminders about your goal, to keep your focus and keep your excitement going.

6. Commit publicly. Often times when we let others know our goals too it kinda hard not to stay motivated because of self instilled peer pressure.

7. Think about it daily. If you think about your goal every day, it is much more likely to become true. To this end, posting the goal on your wall or computer desktop (as mentioned above) helps a lot. Sending yourself daily reminders also helps. And if you can commit to doing one small thing to further your goal (even just 5 minutes) every single day, your goal will almost certainly come true.

8. Get support. It’s hard to accomplish something alone. . Find your support network, either in the real world or online, or both. Often times just know that you have someone in your corner can help keep you motivated with your goals.

9. Realize that there’s an ebb and flow. Motivation is not a constant thing that is always there for you. It comes and goes, and comes and goes again, like the tide. But realize that while it may go away, it doesn’t do so permanently. It will come back. Just stick it out and wait for that motivation to come back.

10. And Finally...Stick with it. Whatever you do, don’t give up. Even if you aren’t feeling any motivation today, or this week, don’t give up. Again, that motivation will come back. Think of your goal as a long journey, and your slump is just a little bump in the road. You can’t give up with every little bump. Stay with it for the long term, ride out the ebbs and surf on the flows, and you’ll get there.

Hope this artice helps everyone stay motivated out there:)
